Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and independent Occupational Therapist to join our established outpatient neurology clinic. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice within a specialized neurology setting while collaborating closely with neurologists and a talented team of occupational and physical therapists across our five clinic locations. This position is 32–40 hours per week, with time split between our Golden Valley and Coon Rapids locations. The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology is one of the largest physician-owned neurology clinics in the Midwest serving 55,000 patients every year. Subspecialities include Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, sleep, headache, epilepsy, and other cognitive neurological disorders. Our holistic approach to patient care includes neuropsychology, infusion, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and neurodiagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide individualized OT services based on physician referrals.
• Primary caseload includes cognitive deficits and dementia.
• Additional diagnoses include concussion/brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions.
• Join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional, specialized care to patients with neurological conditions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Minnesota.
• Minimum of two years of experience practicing as an occupational therapist in an outpatient setting with a focus on neurological conditions.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for providing patient-centered, high-quality care.
