About the role
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of clinicians. Our mission is to provide high-quality care to children with special needs, focusing on compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct therapy evaluations for children referred by primary care physicians or bring recent therapy evaluation reports.
- Provide therapy services including but not limited to fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays, and medical needs.
- Work closely with teachers, teachers' assistants, and other members of the treatment team to ensure each child's needs are met.
- Collaborate with psychologists, nutritionists, and audiologists to support the overall development of the children.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience/Knowledge: One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills/Abilities: Effective communication, strong organizational skills, basic computer skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and problem-solving abilities.
