About the role
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of clinicians. We believe our kiddos and their families deserve the highest quality of care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to children with developmental disabilities or delays.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, teachers' assistants, psychologists, nurses, and nutritionists.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
- Conduct developmental screenings and therapy evaluations as needed.
- Collaborate with families to support home-based therapy and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to work with children between the ages of birth to 6 who are at risk.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience/Knowledge: One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
