Occupational Therapist

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time or full-time (leave coverage, September - March) school-based role in Dunellen, New Jersey. Opportunities are also available state-wide and nation-wide, with growth within the company encouraged.

About the Role

This is a school-based pediatric position with an exclusive placement (no travel required). The role focuses on direct therapy services for preschool-aged students, with no evaluations required.

• Caseload: Primarily preschool-aged students (~5 students with 30-minute sessions, plus additional preschool students)
• Existing full-time OT and full-time COTA on staff
• Preschool experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services using evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulations

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist License
• NJ School Certification

Schedule

• Hours: 8:15 AM – 2:30 PM (flexible), Monday–Friday
• Duration: September – March

Pay

• $60–$65 per hour
• Compensation covers the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch
