Occupational Therapist

About the role

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified Occupational Therapists to join a growing team in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients following an individualized plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care for patients
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and family members
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable, functional goals
• Treat patients, address their concerns, and educate them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes
• Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals
• Complete timely and accurate documentation including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license/certification as required by state
• Ability to evaluate, treat, and re-evaluate patients in a SNF setting
• Experience developing individualized plans of care with measurable, functional goals
• Proficiency with clinical documentation (evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, daily progress notes)
• Experience supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Strong communication and patient education skills
