Occupational Therapist

Position Purpose

Provide patient care, consultative and educational occupational therapy services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team to improve patient outcomes.

Position Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an occupational therapy education program approved by the State Board of Occupational Therapy Education.
• Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes: Preference for dealing directly with the therapeutic needs of handicapped individuals and for physical activity. Teach/instruct; clerical accuracy; accuracy of prescriptions and procedures; manual and finger dexterity and motor coordination; interpersonal skills. Treatment and discharge planning; safety conscious.
• Licenses/Certificates: Licensed occupational therapist in the State of Pennsylvania. BLS Required and must be completed prior to end of orientation period
