Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and develop appropriate remediation, instructional plans and strategies
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement IEPs addressing students’ physical and functional needs
  • Design and implement a variety of evidence-based instructional activities aligned with student’s individualized occupational therapy goals/objectives
  • Follow and implement treatment plans
  • Track service delivery in Welligent on a weekly basis
  • Implement and modify treatment plans based on student progress and needs
  • Conduct occupational therapy screenings
  • Document student progress towards meeting established goals and objectives
  • Conduct formal assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings of students on assigned caseload
  • Possess and share knowledge of the role of occupational therapy, normal sensory motor development, and other topics as required
  • Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress toward IEP goals
  • Collect and analyze student data to track school performance and student achievement in accordance with our educational model
