Occupational Therapist

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Southern NH. This is a part-time position (with option for full-time hours if desired) for the 2026-2027 school year supporting students in a public school / special education setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group sessions)
• Support students with fine motor skills and handwriting
• Support students with sensory processing and sensory integration
• Support students with executive functioning and organization
• Support students with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD)
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
