Responsibilities

• Evaluate physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to design and implement care plans.
• Deliver individualized treatment plans to help patients safely and effectively regain independent living skills.
• Accurately document patient progress, clinical findings, and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers and facilitate seamless discharge planning and resource connections.
• Oversee and guide the care provided by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and therapy technicians.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Driver’s License credentialed from the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required. Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
