Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
• Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.
• Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education, per division protocols.
• Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in occupational therapy is required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certification: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure required.
• Years of relevant experience: Minimum 3 years preferred.
• Years of experience supervising: None.
