Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and help build or restore vocational/daily living skills as well as general independence.
Requirements
- Master's of Occupational Therapy
- Certification/Licensure: VA License of Occupational Therapy
- NBCOT
- BLS
Qualifications
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
