About the role

The Occupational Therapist is a professional-level position that offers independent operation and the capacity to apply initiative, analysis, and service orientation in daily work functions. You will administer participants' evaluations and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the plan of care
  • Assist the IDT in the evaluation and assessment of the patient's functional level by applying appropriate diagnostic and prognostic procedures and tests
  • Recommend orthotics as indicated by condition and needs
  • Treat the participant through therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities to improve function
  • Observe, record, and report the participant's reaction to treatment and any changes in the participant’s condition to the physician, Clinical Director, or IDT as appropriate

Requirements

  • Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or successfully completed the educational requirements of occupational therapy
  • State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Minimum one (1) year of occupational therapy experience

Pay

The pay scale is $44.42 - $67.33 USD per hour. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale aligned with the applicant’s years of experience.
