Role Overview
This position is for a qualified Occupational Medicine MD responsible for providing clinical care in outpatient settings, including urgent care and occupational health, with a focus on work-related injuries, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based clinical care to patients of all ages
- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and urgent care needs
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, injections, and splinting
- Order and interpret X-rays, labs, and diagnostics
- Lead and mentor nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Maintain clinical quality, patient safety, and support operational goals
- Engage with community partners and support team development
Qualifications & Skills
- Active, unrestricted Wisconsin medical license and DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible (ABMS or AOA)
- Eligible for Medicare
- Willingness to obtain FMCSA NRCME certification (training provided)
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Occupational Medicine
- Leadership experience is a plus but not required
