Occupational Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Role Overview

This position is for a qualified Occupational Medicine MD responsible for providing clinical care in outpatient settings, including urgent care and occupational health, with a focus on work-related injuries, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based clinical care to patients of all ages
• Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and urgent care needs
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, injections, and splinting
• Order and interpret X-rays, labs, and diagnostics
• Lead and mentor nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• Maintain clinical quality, patient safety, and support operational goals
• Engage with community partners and support team development

Qualifications & Skills

• Active, unrestricted Wisconsin medical license and DEA
• Board Certified or Eligible (ABMS or AOA)
• Eligible for Medicare
• Willingness to obtain FMCSA NRCME certification (training provided)
• Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Occupational Medicine
• Leadership experience is a plus but not required
