About the role

We are seeking a true Occupational Health physician to support a major manufacturing facility in DFW as Medical Director, focused on employee safety, injury prevention, and return-to-work readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical oversight and consultation to employees regarding work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs
  • Coordinate with HR and management to facilitate return-to-work processes
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations
  • Conduct periodic health screenings and assessments

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine
  • At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience in occupational medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and health
  • Experience with ergonomic evaluations and risk assessment
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation claims process
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Skills

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$135/hr

Schedule

Full-time, stable daytime hours, no weekends, and no oncall
