Occasional Overnight Pet Sitter

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking an experienced pet care professional for overnight pet sitting. The role requires availability for overnight shifts from 8 pm through 5 am (9-hour overnights), with the option to stay later. Ideal candidates are local to Providence, Cranston, Warwick, or within a 20+ minute radius.

Responsibilities

• Visit client homes to care for pets while owners are away
• Walk and exercise dogs
• Let pets out for bathroom breaks
• Provide love, attention, and companionship
• Feed pets, administer medication, and ensure fresh water is available
• Clean up after animals, including litter boxes
• Leave detailed notes for clients after each visit

Requirements

• Love for dogs and/or cats
• Enjoyment of outdoor activities, especially dog walking
• Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels and/or cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and customer service skills
• Desire for a flexible schedule and supplemental income
• Passion for learning and making a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners

Qualifications

• Prior experience working or volunteering with animals
• Commitment to professionalism and high-quality pet care
• Vet techs, dog trainers, pre-vet students, dog groomers, animal rescue workers, and animal care techs are encouraged to apply

Pay

$135 per night plus tips.

Schedule

Occasional overnight shifts from 8 pm to 5 am (9-hour shifts). The position starts part-time with gradual increase in bookings.
