Occasional Overnight Pet Sitter
About the role
Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring experienced pet care professionals for overnight pet sitting. The role requires availability for overnight shifts from 8 pm through 5 am (9-hour overnights), with the option to stay later if desired. Ideal candidates are local to Providence, Cranston, Warwick, or within a 20+ minute radius.
Responsibilities
- Visit client homes to care for pets while owners are away or at work
- Provide walking, exercise, and bathroom breaks for dogs
- Offer companionship, love, and attention to pets
- Feed pets, administer medication, and ensure fresh water is available
- Clean up after animals, maintain litter boxes, and perform other light cleaning tasks
- Leave detailed notes for clients after each visit to update them on their pet’s care
Requirements
- Love for dogs and/or cats and enjoyment of outdoor activities (e.g., dog walking)
- Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels and/or experience with cats and other small animals
- Reliable transportation and ownership of a smartphone
- Ability to work independently with strong communication and customer service skills
- Desire for a flexible schedule and interest in making a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners
- Seeking part-time work or supplemental income

Compensation
$135 per overnight shift (9 hours) plus tips.
