Overnight Pet Sitter

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking an experienced pet care professional for overnight pet sitting. The role requires availability for overnight shifts from 8 pm through 5 am (9-hour overnights), with flexibility to stay later if desired. Ideal candidates are local to Providence, Cranston, Warwick, or within a 20+ minute radius. Separate daytime and evening/weekend positions are also available.

Your ideal profile

• Love dogs and/or cats and enjoy the outdoors (dog walking) and being active.
• Free time is often spent volunteering with or being around dogs, cats, or other animals.
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels and/or experienced with cats/other small animals.
• Reliable transportation and own a smartphone.
• Ability to work well independently with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Desire a flexible schedule, love to learn, and want to make a positive impact daily.
• Seeking part-time work or supplemental income.

Responsibilities

• Visit client homes to care for pets while owners are at work or on vacation.
• Include walking, exercising dogs, letting them out for bathroom breaks, and providing love and attention.
• May also include feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, and maintaining litter boxes.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit to update them on the pet’s care.

Compensation

$135–$155 per overnight shift + tips.
