Requirements

• Background Investigation must be cleared prior to being hired.
• Medical Clearance must be obtained prior to being hired.
• TAU (Temporary Authorization Under) appointments: applicants are encouraged to apply. TAU appointments are made under temporary authorization regardless of eligibility; no person may serve in one or more positions under a temporary appointment longer than 9 months in 12 consecutive months. Time served in temporary appointments counts toward this 9‑month maximum. TAU confers no status or rights and provides no reinstatement eligibility. Persons lacking the minimum qualifications for the classification are ineligible for TAU appointment. To transition from TAU to permanent appointment, eligibility must be obtained through an examination process; if offered and accepting a TAU appointment, the employee must take the next exam for this classification, or the TAU appointment will be terminated immediately upon exam results if the exam is not taken, score is too low, or the test is failed.

Pay

Salary range: $5,819.00 – $8,012.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
