Ocala, FL Family Medicine with Obstetrics Job with New AdventHealth FM Residency
Overview
AdventHealth Ocala, a 385-bed hospital in central Florida, seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician to join their growing Graduate Medical Education Team. The program started in July 2025 with 8 residents per program year. Our team includes an experienced Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and 3 Core Family Medicine Faculty, along with dedicated clinical staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinical, and administrative time
- Work with Program Director on program accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development, and resident coaching
- Serve as a member of the program evaluation committee and clinical competency committee
- Perform additional academic and clinical duties as assigned by the program director
- Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Model professionalism for residents, medical students, and clinical staff
- Possess excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the EPIC EMR
