Position Details
- Inpatient OBGYN - benefited position
- Hospital employed
- 10 - 24-hour shifts per month
- 10 on-site hour requirement
- No outpatient
- Rounding covers consults, deliveries, admissions
- Work in conjunction with independent OB group
- Call 1:4 with addition of Laborist
- On-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers
- Experienced OB department
- Seasoned nurses with 10+ yrs of Obstetric care
- Focus on teamwork, excellent culture
- V-Backs are provided
- C-sections done in the OR
- OR team available 24/7
- Average of 50 deliveries per month
- 24/7 Pediatric and Cardiology coverage
- Fulltime pediatric cardiologist on-site
- Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University
- Medical Students and Family Practice Residents
- Residents on site in OB 24/7
- Level IIIA NICU staffed with 3 Neonatologists and 3 APPs
- Mobile transport team
