OBGYN Physician GME Faculty
Essential Functions
You will be a .8 FTE Faculty member, also participating in full OB/GYN call at St. Joseph Hospital. The clinical practice includes full-scope obstetrics and gynecology, including labor and delivery, gynecologic surgeries, emergency room care and ambulatory care. Faculty participate in in-house call, providing coverage for labor and delivery and unassigned OB/GYN patients in the emergency department. Typical call includes approximately two weeknight shifts and one 24-hour weekend shift per month.
You will teach and mentor medical students, and residents during all clinical activities. In partnership with the Program Director and institutional leadership, contribute to program operations, strategic direction, and ongoing compliance with ACGME requirements. In collaboration with the Program Director, design and execute an effective curriculum and evaluation process to ensure that trainees receive appropriate teaching, rotation experiences, and evaluation. Participate as appropriate in lectures, grand rounds, training programs, educational committees, or similar activities. Coach and mentor learners in projects of scholarship including abstract and poster presentations, case reports, scholarly documents, and publications.

Qualifications
- MD or DO with ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in a relevant specialty
- Active Medical Licensure
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- ACLS, BLS certification
- Active, unrestricted DEA Registration
