Job Summary
This position involves delivering comprehensive OB/GYN services, educating and mentoring residents, and collaborating with other specialists like pediatric cardiologists and gynecological oncologists. The role is based in Gilbert, AZ, and offers opportunities for teaching and research.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN services, including antepartum, intrapartum, deliveries, and gynecological care
- Educate and mentor residents in OBGYN, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine
- Collaborate with divisions such as MFM/Advanced Gynecology, Patient Safety and Quality, and Gynecological Oncology
- Work in partnership with Phoenix Children's Hospital on a new women’s and children’s pavilion
- Participate in in-house call with a 1:10 frequency
- Engage in research and scholarly activities with a .2 FTE carve-out for teaching and academics
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Completed ACGME Residency training
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
- Full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Team-oriented provider with a passion for quality care and serving the poor and underprivileged
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
- Strong passion for teaching and clinical excellence
