OBGYN Physician/Clinician Informaticist
About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a full-time Ob/Gyn Physician to provide comprehensive gynecological, obstetric, maternity, and reproductive health care services. The position involves working in various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient Labor & Delivery, and the operating room. The role includes a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and teaching commitments.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum gynecological, obstetric, maternity, and reproductive health care services in various settings.
- Assume an established patient panel from diverse backgrounds and accommodate new patients.
- Manage a manageable call schedule.
- Teach medical students and residents from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center across all settings.
- Serve as a clinician informaticist, liaising between CHA Information Technology and OBGYN and Perinatal Operations to inform population health and value-based care initiatives.
- Drive optimization of the electronic health record to promote workflow efficiencies and optimal care of patients and communities while reducing provider burden.
- Identify data requirements and coordinate the advancement of clinical information systems to meet data needs across the organization.
- Opportunity to participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives for the Department.
Requirements
- BE/BC certification in Ob/Gyn.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Experience with innovative care models, data analytics, and operational governance.
- Experience with Epic EHR is a plus.

Pay
The full-time guaranteed base salary range is $250,000-$330,000, based on years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive.
Schedule
The position is located in Cambridge, with flexibility to practice in either Somerville or Revere. Physicians have a manageable call schedule.
