About the role

You will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will join a newly forming obstetrics & gynecology practice in Billings, Montana, employed by the Intermountain Medical Group. As an OB/GYN generalist, your schedule will include a mix of clinic, surgical and inpatient responsibilities. Flexible scheduling, including potential for part time status, is available. Call expectation will be an average of 6 12-hour shifts per month (ie. 1:10). Call is taken restricted where you’ll serve as an OB/GYN Hospitalist. Primarily spending your time in Labor & Delivery, you will also provide care in the ED supporting patients that have obstetric or gynecology needs while on service.

Responsibilities

  • Join a newly forming obstetrics & gynecology practice in Billings, Montana, employed by the Intermountain Medical Group.
  • Provide a mix of clinic, surgical and inpatient responsibilities.
  • Serve as an OB/GYN Hospitalist, primarily spending your time in Labor & Delivery, and providing care in the ED supporting patients that have obstetric or gynecology needs while on service.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN.
  • Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN.
  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Experience with hospitalist services.
  • Knowledge of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Pay

$369,000.00 guaranteed annual salary, with opportunity for additional pay for productivity. Starting bonus of $25,000.00, and relocation assistance up to $20,000.00.

Schedule

Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. Hourly range is $7.25 - $999.99.
