OBGYN Physician/Clinician Informaticist
About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a full-time Ob/Gyn Physician to provide comprehensive gynecological, obstetric, maternity, and reproductive health care services. The selected candidate will also dedicate time as a clinician informaticist, working closely with the Chief Health Information Officer (CHIO).
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient Labor & Delivery, and the operating room.
- Manage an established patient panel from diverse backgrounds and have the capacity to accommodate new patients.
- Assume responsibility for an existing patient panel and manage a manageable call schedule.
- Teach medical students and residents from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center across all settings.
- Drive optimization of the electronic health record to promote workflow efficiencies and optimal care of patients and communities while decreasing provider burden.
- Identify data requirements and coordinate the advancement of clinical information systems to meet the department's needs.
- Participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives for the Department.
Requirements
- BE/BC certification in Ob/Gyn.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Experience with innovative care models, data analytics, and operational governance.
- Experience with Epic EHR is a plus.

Pay
The full-time guaranteed base salary range is $250,000 - $330,000, based on years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive.
Schedule
The position is located in Cambridge, with flexibility to practice in either Somerville or Revere. Physicians have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center across all settings.
