About the role
Join the CommonSpirit Mountain Region team, where you'll practice comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services at or above customary community standards, in a supportive, physician-centered environment. You'll work at the clinic on the Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley West campus, utilizing a new ultrasound machine and two dedicated NST rooms, with convenient onsite lab access.
Responsibilities
- Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation: Conducts examinations, provides services, and maintains meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies, including those for managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Adheres to Regulatory and Ethical Standards: Strictly complies with all federal and state reimbursement plans, ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities, and the Hospital's comprehensive policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
- Engages in Quality Improvement and Peer Review: Participates in clinical and quality improvement initiatives, contributes to physician peer review, utilization review, and serves on medical staff committees as assigned.
- Contributes to Operational Excellence and Professional Growth: Advises on operational matters, including personnel, business oversight, and equipment evaluation, while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification.
Requirements
- Board-eligible/Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active or eligible license in the state of Utah
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of OBGYN care principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
