About the role

The AdventHealth Ocala division is seeking a BC/BE Ob/Gyn to join their growing team. This opportunity offers a 2,400+ delivery annual volume, two dedicated operating rooms, and a collaborative environment with midwives, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and obstetric hospitalists.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopy for conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, endometrial ablation, and uterine fibroid removal.
• Work in a busy, high-volume setting with 24-hour laborist backup, dedicated gynecological surgical technicians, and obstetric nursing staff.
• Utilize a newly opened outpatient office building and robot-assisted surgery capabilities, though these are not required.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC/BE)
• Current Florida Medical License
• Experience with minimally invasive gynecological surgery
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience preferred
• Interest in developing a private practice
