Description
Putnam Hospital Center of Nuvance Health, a 165-bed community hospital in Carmel, New York, is seeking a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join their established and successful OB/GYN provider network. The Labor and Delivery Unit sees approximately 360 births annually.
About the Role
As a full-time OB-GYN, you will provide comprehensive care to women of all ages, including prenatal care, deliveries, and gynecological services. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient satisfaction and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Participate in the delivery of babies and provide postpartum care
- Manage and coordinate patient care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Conduct routine check-ups and screenings
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Current New York State Medical License
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACOG residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Strong leadership and teaching abilities
