About the role
OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local obstetricians to ensure every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time.
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal visits, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans.
- Manage obstetric emergencies and provide immediate medical care as needed.
Requirements
- Current California Medical License
- ABOG certification or eligible for ABOG certification
- At least 3 years of OB/GYN experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- Experience in hospital-based obstetric care
- Strong clinical skills and problem-solving abilities

Pay
Annual compensation range: $404,000 - $519,000
Schedule
Full-time Hospitalists have the freedom to create their own schedules – typically seven 24-hour shifts per month – with no on-call duty or office management.
