About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the Women's Care Clinic in Northern Colorado are seeking a board-certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to join their established and collaborative team. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced physician to provide inpatient comprehensive obstetric care and gynecologic consults during nocturnist shifts from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient comprehensive obstetric care and gynecologic consults during nocturnist shifts from 7 p.m.-7 a.m.
  • Focus on in-house obstetric management, deliveries and triage as well as gyn consults and acute clinical issues overnight.
  • Collaborate closely with a supportive, collegial team of eight OB/GYN physicians and four APPs, with backup physician coverage and multispecialty support.
  • Communicate effectively with day teams to ensure smooth, high-quality handoffs and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Experience in inpatient obstetric care and gynecologic consults
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current license to practice medicine in Colorado
  • Passing score on the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) examination
