Obstetrician/Gynecology Nocturnist Physician

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York is seeking a BC/BE Obstetrician/Gynecologist PM Hospitalist to join our staff in Cooperstown, NY.

About the Role

The faculty practice consists of 8 Physicians, 8 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC), and 6 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM). The LDR model includes a Level 1 Nursery with over 1,000 deliveries per year, with Albany Medical Center serving as the Regional Perinatal Center.

This hospital-employed position offers a collegial working environment, dedicated to teaching medical students and surgical and medical residents, with an academic appointment at Columbia University. Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record system is used.

Responsibilities

• 12-hour shifts (8 PM – 8 AM), averaging 14 shifts per month (26 weeks per year)
• 24-hour in-house anesthesia and midwifery support

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree
• ABOG Certification
• New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• NLS Certification
