OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

Board-Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) providing inpatient obstetric services on a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume deliveries, including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, VBACs, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and circumcisions for both low and high-risk cases.
• Provide comprehensive obstetric care across Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and mother-baby units.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies within 30 minutes, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and coordinate with in-house anesthesia support.
• Maintain continuous availability during call periods, working 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Certifications including BLS, NRP, ATLS, and DEA.
• Strong clinical skills in managing obstetric emergencies and deliveries.
• Experience with high patient volume and emergency cases preferred.
