OB/GYN Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a 300-bed facility, with 24-hour in-house call coverage on a 1:4 ratio. Responsibilities include managing clinic hours from 8:30am to 3pm, maintaining documentation via electronic medical records, and delivering full scope obstetric and gynecologic services during 7am-7am shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases
• Provide continuous patient care during assigned shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with protocols
• Respond to both scheduled and emergency needs during shifts

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification and prescriptive authority are mandatory
• Must be capable of handling routine and emergency cases, with support from hospitalist teams, surgical assistants, and nursing staff
