Ob/GYN Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This is a locum tenens position for an OB/GYN providing inpatient coverage. The role involves 24-hour shifts with call responsibilities. You will work alongside hospitalists who handle GYN coverage but do not perform circumcisions or first assists—these are managed by midwives, residents, or the group.

The facility features a Level I NICU and averages approximately 200 deliveries per month, with around 40 managed by hospitalists. Support staff includes MFM specialists on-site and in-house anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Manage obstetric cases in an inpatient setting
• Provide backup support for family practice
• Support OB/GYN emergency department coverage

Requirements

• Board certification in OB/GYN
