OB/GYN Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This position is for an Obstetric and Gynecologic (OB-GYN) Physician providing inpatient and emergency room coverage at a 366-bed facility. The clinician will work 24-hour in-house call shifts, managing unassigned OB patients, GYN patients, and OB emergency cases in a high-volume setting with approximately 250 obstetric emergencies annually. Support staff includes perinatologists and neonatologists. This is a locum tenens role, ideal for experienced OB-GYN practitioners seeking ongoing inpatient and ER coverage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care to unassigned patients
• Manage 20-30 unassigned deliveries per month
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergency cases
• Maintain continuous on-site availability during 24-hour in-house call shifts

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Prescriptive authority
• 2-3 years of experience in OB-GYN practice
