OB/GYN Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This position is for an Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) providing inpatient obstetric services in a Level II trauma center. The role focuses on comprehensive obstetric care for adult patients in an on-site inpatient setting, with support from in-house anesthesia coverage and clinical documentation via the EPIC EMR system.

The patient population includes both low and high-risk cases, with a variable caseload and no call requirements. The facility is located in a region rich in outdoor and cultural attractions.

Responsibilities

• Manage obstetric cases on Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and mother-baby units
• Perform C-sections, vaginal deliveries, VBACs, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and circumcisions

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• BLS, NRP, and ATLS certifications
• DEA Certificate
• At least 5 years of experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, working 3-4 shifts per month.
