OB/GYN Locum Physician for Inpatient Coverage

About the role

Provide inpatient care during 24-hour shifts, including labor, delivery, cesarean sections, and gynecologic procedures. Manage an average of 72 hospital deliveries per month with support from OB physicians, general surgery, and emergency room staff. Handle adult patient cases in a hospital setting, with backup support available.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with call coverage required.
• Perform procedures such as cesarean sections and gynecologic interventions.
• Maintain certification in obstetrics, gynecology, and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).

Requirements

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
• EFM certification.
• Ability to work 24-hour inpatient shifts.
