OB/GYN Locum Tenens Inpatient Coverage

About the Role

This inpatient obstetric and gynecologic position provides 24-hour call coverage at a hospital with a 24/7 midwife model, ensuring continuous patient care. The facility manages approximately 1,000 deliveries annually, averaging 2-3 deliveries per day, and is supported by a physician and midwife team at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases
• Cover emergency room needs
• Perform circumcisions (preferred)
• Conduct D&C procedures for miscarriages (no termination services)
• Maintain unrestricted call duties from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Prescriptive authority
• Board certification (negotiable)
• Clean file for temporary privileges consideration
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
