About the Role
TeamHealth is seeking a dynamic and dedicated medical director to lead the OB/GYN hospitalist program at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, Florida. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a skilled team of OB/GYN physicians and drive excellence in women's healthcare for the community. As medical director, you'll partner with seasoned clinical and operational leaders who bring extensive experience in building and supporting successful OB/GYN hospitalist programs.

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed, full-service acute care facility in Miami-Dade County. Recent expansions include four advanced operating rooms (including a hybrid OR for cardiac and vascular procedures) and upgraded women's services featuring a private 25-bed NICU with ocean views, as well as enhanced labor and postpartum units. The hospital specializes in robotic surgery, orthopedics, cardiac care, stroke treatment, and wound healing, blending cutting-edge medicine with compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- L&D management
- Coverage of unassigned OB patients
- In-house support for general OB and emergent GYN 24/7
