OB/Gyn Hospitalist - Medical Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced OB-GYN Hospitalist to lead our practice at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center in Salinas, CA.

Schedule

Choose from a schedule of five to seven 24-hour shifts per 4-week cycle. Per diem shifts are also available.

Responsibilities

• OB ED coverage
• Emergencies, OB triage, patient evaluation, and management
• Surgical assist
• Fetal monitoring
• Low volume of delivery attendance for community OBs
• 24-hour in-house coverage

Location

Salinas is nestled in the heart of California's Central Coast just south of the San Francisco Bay and offers a perfect blend of urban and rural living. Qualifications

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-Gyn).

Pay

Annual pay based on hours ranges from $265,200 to $371,280 plus a Medical Director stipend of $25,000. Extra hours are paid at $170 per hour.

Eligible full-time team members receive a lump-sum grant of 40 hours (or five days) of paid sick leave annually on January 1. Newly hired full-time team members receive a prorated grant after 90 days. Unused sick leave does not carry over year-to-year.
