Our team of over 60 providers delivers a wide range of services, including Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Practice, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and more.
About the role
Join our dynamic team as a full-time OB/GYN Department Manager, overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, streamline workflows, and ensure a positive experience for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Maximize patient flow and provider efficiency while minimizing patient wait times.
- Coordinate patient care with hospitals and other partner facilities.
- Oversee staff scheduling and coordinate office and surgical schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the OB/GYN department and the billing department, IT department, and other internal departments.
- Supervise all clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth departmental operations, quality patient care, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage requisitions for medical supplies and sample medications, and oversee the maintenance and functionality of all equipment in the department.
- Ensure clinical program goals and departmental performance objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required.
- Prior OB/GYN experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and patients.
- Computer literate and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
