About the role
This position will be responsible for North Yard mechanical crane maintenance. The role supervises, assigns, coordinates, and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience, and job knowledge.
The position is responsible for complying with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to all drawings, procedures, etc., and for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work performed
- Recommends training to enhance skill and productivity of employees, and assists in development of training procedures
- Breaks broad strategies down to practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to perform these plans
- Supervises qualified trades staff; monitoring job and budget performance for all shifts
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree OR Apprentice Certification OR High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience OR Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
Nice to Have
- Knowledgeable of Lock Out Tag Out Y-1078 Procedure
- Knowledgeable of SAP Plant Maintenance Module and documentation requirements
- Ability to read complex schematics and machinery drawings
- Familiarity with Maintenance Processes

Pay
The anticipated salary range is $92,000.00 to $117,000.00, representing the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range.
Schedule
Full-Time, 1st shift, with no relocation assistance available and no opportunity for telework.
