Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor manages day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring processes are executed efficiently and accurately. This role involves overseeing a team of warehouse associates, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while collaborating with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates in daily operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
• Coordinate the receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
• Collaborate with logistics and other departments to optimize workflow.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and address operational issues.
• Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Assist in budget management and control warehouse expenses.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipments.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with inventory management software.
• Knowledge of barcode and RFID technology.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Understanding of lean warehouse practices and principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience in the wine and spirits industry.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 48 lbs.
• Considerable time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine.
• Occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.

Pay

Competitive compensation package with expected first-year total earnings of $80,000–$90,000 per year. Final offer will be based on education, skills, and experience.

Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM.
