Nutritional Services Host

Responsibilities

• Functions of the Patient Meal Services Host focusing on customer service in patient services.
• Responsible for excellence in customer service in all aspects of service areas.
• Involved in patient food service delivery.
• Engages in basic food preparation.
• Handles Guests/Staff meal service.
• Ensures adherence to Food Safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
• Might be required to work at any/all Parkview entities.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in hospitality services, customer services, or general labor.
• Previous experience in nutritional services in a medical or hospital setting preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to use departmental equipment, as outlined by the department.
