NUTRITIONAL ASSISTANT I - FULL TIME - 12 HR SHIFTS

About the role

Under moderate supervision, perform a variety of tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, and patient care areas.

Responsibilities

• Cold food preparation
• Assist in executing catering functions
• Stocking of supplies
• Documentation of temperatures
• Operating a cash register
• Working the grill/fryer station
• Assembly and transporting of patient trays and carts
• Working in the dish-room
• Trash removal
• Receiving and storage of supplies
• Weekly and daily cleaning tasks

Requirements

• Preference given to those with experience in food service assignments and/or food service equipment
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures
• Excellent customer service skills

Skills

• Clear communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Knowledge of basic computer programs
• Able to keep confidential information regarding patients and team members
• Able to withstand crisis situations
• Skills to provide customer service to patients, team members, and visitors

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent (nonessential). On-the-job training provided.

Pay

Entry: USD $16.50/Hr. – Max: USD $25.58/Hr.
