Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods and beverages for patients, cafeteria and catering.
• Assembles, portions, wraps and serves foods on terayline, cafeteria line and for catered functions.
• Sets up tray line stations, serving areas, dining room with supplies ready for service.
• Replenishes as needed.
• Maintains work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner, performing cleaning, mopping and washing duties.
• Disposes of trash, boxes and garbage as needed.
• Delivers and stores food and supplies in various areas.
• Delivers and picks up food carts at designated times.
• May be required to complete duties such as training of co-workers and ordering supplies.

Requirements

• Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
• A high school diploma is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
• Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
