About the Role
Responsible for assisting the Dietitian in the provision of nutrition services to a broad patient population. This includes appropriate meals, between-meal nourishments, and special formulas required by each individual patient.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients to identify food preferences, allergies, and nutritional status.
- Assess patient calorie counts, percentage of food consumed by the patient, conduct meal rounds, and monitor diet restrictions.
- Maintain pertinent records.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required (Associate's Degree in Dietetics preferred).
- Experience may not be substituted for the required degree.
Skills
