Schedule

11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, must be available to work during the weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Communicate patient food issues, concerns, and needs to team members within the department and interact with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements.
• React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) – preferred.
• 1 year of previous food service or customer service experience – required.
• Previous experience in applying the various diets used in a hospital setting – preferred.
• ServSafe certification – preferred.
• SAFE Serve Certification – required.
