Job Description
Nutrition Services Worker I - Calendar 17 (9 Months/Year, 205 Days/Year, 5 Days/Week)
Length of Work Day: 3.5 hours
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
About the Role
Provides nutrition services to students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves meals according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensures food safety and quality standards are met.
- Handles cash transactions and maintains accurate records.
- Assists with meal planning and preparation as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in a food service setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of nutrition principles and practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Customer service orientation.
