Nutrition Host - Food and Nutrition - Part-Time - Evening Shift Including All Weekends and Holidays

About the role

Location: Brooklyn, New York. Shift: Evening (4:30 pm‑8:30 pm) including weekends, holidays, and some weekdays at NewYork‑Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a 591‑bed hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. Join the Food and Nutrition team where you will process menus, obtain selections, input data, print menus/tray tickets, prepare and distribute trays/nourishments, obtain food preferences, and respond to patient requests.

Responsibilities

• Obtain menu selections from patients
• Input data into the diet office system
• Print menus and tray tickets
• Prepare and distribute trays and nourishments
• Obtain food preferences
• Respond to patient requests in a timely manner
• Perform all duties assigned consistent with the hospital’s commitment to quality, compassionate care

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer literacy

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience

Pay

Salary range: $26.08 – $28.01 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time evening shift, 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, including all weekends and holidays and some weekdays.
